On a private VIP transfer, you head to the iconic house where the series was filmed. The house is located in the Çekmeköy district, away from the city center, so the drive can take around an hour.

We take you back to your hotel or to an address you specify in advance.
After touring the Koçovalı house, we recommend a walk through Balat — the historic neighborhood where the series was filmed.
Good to know: most people assume the Koçovalı house itself is right in Balat — it isn't. The street scenes were filmed in Balat, but the house is located well outside the center, and it's not easy to find on your own. We know exactly where it is, and we'll take you there and back comfortably — just message us on WhatsApp.
Most of the show's street scenes were filmed on Esnaf Loncası Sokağı and the surrounding lanes of the Balat–Ayvansaray district. The "Dostlar" coffeehouse (known in the show as the "Koçovalı café"), Muhittin's barbershop, and the alleys of the "Koçovalı quarter" are all real streets in Balat.
📍 Coffeehouse address: Ayvansaray, Esnaf Loncası Sokak, 33 — can be added to the tour for an extra fee, just ask via WhatsApp
The neighborhood sits on the European side of Istanbul, along the Golden Horn, in the historic Fatih district.

Balat's colorful houses — the neighborhood's signature look
In 1492, Sultan Bayezid II welcomed Sephardic Jews expelled from Spain. Over the following centuries, 12 synagogues were built here, alongside Greek and Armenian churches and mosques.
Balat's most photographed spot is Merdivenli Yokuş Sokağı — a stepped street lined with colorful houses, umbrellas, and flower pots that give the neighborhood its unmistakable look.
