“Altı Üstü İstanbul” (literally “It’s Just Istanbul”; in Russia it is also known as “Eto prosto Stambul”) is a Turkish series on ATV that premiered on 15 June 2026. The story is set in the fictional poor neighborhood of Zıyankar: a talented footballer, Emir Cankaya (Rahimcan Kapkap), dreams of a big career, and his path crosses the world of the rich and powerful. Team captain Uzay Sultan is played by Berk Ali Çatal, and his father, club owner Galip Sultan, by Kaan Çakır.
Uzay’s House is a spacious white mansion in the Çatalmeşe district (Çekmeköy) on the Asian outskirts of Istanbul. The Sultan family’s residence was filmed here. The mansion is far from the center, about an hour’s drive away, and not easy to find on your own — we take you right to the door and bring you back.
Good to know: the series has only just premiered, and filming sometimes takes place at these locations. On such days we may not be allowed inside the house, and streets may be closed. On the other hand, you get a chance to see the actors and the filming process. Please check the details for your tour day on WhatsApp.

We drive to the Asian shore of the Bosphorus, to the Kadıköy district where the Zıyankar streets were filmed.
We walk the streets where the characters live: narrow lanes, houses, kebab shops and cafés of real, non-touristy Istanbul.
The tour ends in Kadıköy — a great place to stroll along the waterfront and the Moda district. If you wish, the car waits for you (waiting is $40 per hour) and takes you to your hotel.
Zıyankar is a fictional name. In reality, the streets of “Emir’s neighborhood” were filmed in Kadıköy on Istanbul’s Asian side — according to fan guides, mostly in the Eğitim and Fikirtepe quarters, with the waterfront scenes shot on the Moda promenade. It is real, non-touristy Istanbul: apartment blocks, narrow streets, kebab shops and cafés.
Important: the series is new and filming takes place right in residential neighborhoods, so we confirm the exact street route before the tour. On filming days some streets may be closed — but you may occasionally spot the actors.
The mansion in Çatalmeşe is familiar not only to viewers of “Altı Üstü İstanbul”. It was also the home of Yaman in the series “Yabani” (Wild Heart), which aired from 2023 to 2025. It is the story of a boy kidnapped from a wealthy family: years later Yaman returns home and tries to find his place in a world that has changed while he was away. The leads are Halit Özgür Sarı (Yaman), Dolunay Soysert (Neslihan) and Simay Barlas (Rüya).
If you love “Yabani”, come and see the house where the scenes about Yaman and his family were filmed — the same tour will delight fans of both series. Looking for other Turkish TV series filming locations in Istanbul? Take a look at our tour to the Koçovalı mansion from “The Pit” (Çukur).
